Hello Bankers!
You may ask what we have been up to since regionalism? ;) and the answer is we have mainly been working on a original Super€uro App!
Our engineering sidekick in maynooth is assisting the team! And our plan is to have a newsfeed of our many promotions & upcoming events! Were also have a daily coupon code, that our bankers have to find on the App and if they tell us the bankers the right code they get a special prize :O
LESS THAN A WEEK TIL NATIONALS!!

Easter Excitement and National nerves!
Come in super €uro's come in!,
Hi everyone so its the easter holidays and while everyone is relaxing in the rare Irish sun, we the Super euro team are busy busy busy getting ready for nationals in just under 2 weeks! (AHHH). Everyone loves Easter time so we took it as the perfect opportunity to promote great savings about the bank and also create fun easter themed activities for our bank members.
One of our first promotions was the Best banker awards. This was to acknowledge those in the bank who save every week with us and to reward them for their great participation in the bank activities. After all we wouldn't have the school bank without them. We went around each classroom and surprised each super euro best banker with an easter egg.
Our second promotion was our Super Euro Jar Guesser. In this promotions we placed 104 easter mini eggs into a jar and every time someone lodged an amount over 2 euro they received a free guess into the competition. Our winner was Rebekah. She won the jar of chocolate eggs. Super well done to rebekah! :D

Smiles all round as rebekah receives her prize!
Our final Promotion was a Super euro chocolate tasting competition! The first 30 student who lodged 2 euro or more into the bank were entered into the competition. As they stood excitedly outside the Super Euro layer waiting to be called each girl was tested to the full on how much they really know their chocolate :P Blind folded we really bonded with our bankers as we all used team work in this competition. Out of 30 students we had 5 winners who really proved their super powers in telling yorkies from caburys. Never again will chocolate be mixed up while these ladies are around. Each winner went home with a really yummy easter egg as their prize.
Pictures from the competition:
So as we said earlier the nationals are in just under 2 weeks. We are very excited to see all the ideas and themes from other school banks around ireland but we are also very nervous about the competition. We have been putting blood sweat and tears into every detail of the bank. We really couldnt do all this work without our great school community and we mean when we say, Were banking on you. Wish us luck on the final length of our journey and we will always remember this incredible journey so far.

Nationals are so soon!
Bankter
Well, its not long until nationals now. TOP 20 BANKS! Its so exciting. We found out today that none other than BRESSIE is MC for the Nationals! Its incredible. We are currently having meetings about making apps for iphone and android. Its complicated but something that I never thought I'd be learning about. And of course after the meeting in Maynooth we had a trip to Supermacs... it would be a health risk if we went hungry! We had great fun! Waiting to hear if they can make it for us now.
We also found out that at Nationals. We have a 20 minute interview, then the top 6 have to do a powerpoint presentation in front of the public. And then the winner will be announced. I am getting so nervous just writing about it! Ahhhhhh!
Au Revoir My lovelies!

Regionals AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Last week, the supereuros bank team went to the regional finals in Leopardstown. It was such a nerve-wrecking, scary and exciting day. First of all we set up our stand (after we had free food of course). I have to say I was so proud of it. It looked so good. We then had our 10 minute judging which went really well. They asked a lot of questions and we always had an answer so we were happy. Even still, the compaetition was unbelievable! Later in the day we had a ceremoney and we did a flash mob for the judges (we must do that with our members some day). And then.... wait for it! We were put in the top 10. This means that one of our team had to make a two minute presentation to the public. It went really well but we were very nervous. We were all dressed up too! I will never forget the next thing that happened. WE GOT INTO NATIONALS! The Supereuro bank team had won regionals! I will never forget the faces of the team! We won €100 euro each, a trophy and €250 for the school.
There were pictures and interviews of all sorts taken so check out the facebook page.
We love you members for supporting us, we most definitely couldn't have done it without you! Most banks had about 40 members and we are so proud to say that almost 200 Wolstans students are Supereuros members. If you have any questions please come and talk to us! All our love.

Less than 4 days to go!
In less than a week our whole bank team will be travelling out to Lepordstown to attend the Regional Finals of the "A.I.B Build a Bank Challenge"
Speaking as a team, we are all super excited but nervous! I really hope that our constant hard work & determination will pay off! When we were first put into a group, we all agreed that our main aim was to provide all students with an organised bank full of fun! We wanted to be unique, different and original and we hope that our super hero theme supported that!
Have to go finish preparing for regionals! Wish us luck :)
Over and out,

Super Euro's Launch Success!
For the last couple of days we have been recovering from our epic bank launch party! Our weeks of planning was finally coming together on Thursday as we set up for our official Super Euro's bank launch.
As soon as the bell went for lunch all we could here were the excited screams outside the school hall, coming towards us. We knew then that we were in for a crazy day ahead. To kick off our members-only event, we guided people towards our long table full of endless amounts of food and sweets (no one seemed to be put off that it was the second day of lent!). Our guest then picked their spots in front of the stage to get a good view of all the action. When everyone settled down, our first special guest, Johhny Doyle, the Co. Kildare GAA captain, was invited to the stage to cut our red & blue ribbon. He said a few words to encourage our members and reminded them how important it is to save your money, especially these days! Everyone really liked hearing from Johnny and we really appreciate him coming out! :)
Next up was a grand entrance from The Original Rudeboys, who were almost ambushed by fans before even getting on stage! They performed some new songs and songs that they've already released, and had a bit of banter with the girls along the way :D They were really nice and signed posters and took pictures with everyone. :)
The local newspaper, the Liffey Champion, sent out a reporter and a photographer to cover our exciting day. There was also two representatives from Kildare TV there to join in on all the excitement and we expect our time in the spotlight to be broadcasted next week hopefully! Click here to check it out!
It was a fantastic day and we got lots of positive feedback from members of our bank and from students and staff of the school :)
Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us so far! :)
